Good afternoon,

My ex told me that I could have primary physical custody of my 11 year old daughter on Sunday. We packed up her belongings and she is now at my house. I need to know what process I should use to make this permanent through the court so she won't be able to go back on what she said. We don't have any custody agreements at this time.

What's the best way to go about this without making her angry enough to say that she wants my daughter to come back home? Are there certain processes that have worked for you in the past?

What forms/docs should I use to establish the fact that my daughter will live primarily at my house? I looked through the forms on this site but it was a bit overwhelming. I can't hire a lawyer so I want to make sure I go about this right.

I've gone through years of years of fighting with her. I want to cement the process as soon as possible.
